Deep Blue
Resting atop an idyllic Zakynthian hillside, Villa Deep Blue takes its name from the azure Ionian Sea below. A cute playground will be popular with the kids while you lounge by the cliff-side pool. Glide weightless through the topaz waters, as you enjoy panoramic views of the glistening ocean. Catch an even better view from your adorable stone balcony, lovingly carved into the hillside and accessorized with comfy cushions. By night, watch hazy, golden sunsets with your favorite drink in hand. The al fresco dining area sits up high on its own romantic covered balcony. It too is a terrific vantage point to view the Grecian sun dip gracefully below the horizon.
Dine under the soaring cathedral ceiling in the main living area. Brimming with Zakynthian charm and blessed with an abundance of natural light, the cozy lounge and impressive dining area epitomize the perfect Grecian retreat. Full of character, the traditional kitchen is homely and quaint, a delightful space in which to prepare your vacation meals and take leisurely breakfasts.
All four bedrooms benefit from a television, their own delightful en-suite bathroom and a glorious sea view. The two stylish double rooms have access to a gorgeous terrace – step out and feel the gentle sea breeze on your face, before heading to breakfast. The third double is known as the studio. It has its own kitchen and a luxurious en-suite with a generous tub. With a double and single bed, the fourth room also enjoys a kitchenette and grants you access to the lovely terrace too. Three of the four rooms have independent entrances, gifting large groups with privacy and space.
Stroll down a scenic path to visit the remarkable Priest’s Cave, and for access to the ocean. Take the villa’s snorkeling equipment and kayaks to fully experience wonders of the Ionian Sea. Nearby Agios Nikolaos boasts a pretty, sheltered harbor and popular restaurants. It has a superb pebble beach too – take a picnic or simply relax on a sunbed.
