Open double French doors to a beautiful garden and enjoy your morning coffee as you prepare for the day OR light a fire and snuggle up on the undercover porch when it starts to cool down in the evening. Whether in town for a meeting in one of the surrounding areas or attending an event at the Rose Bowl, this home has everything you need to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable.
This private 500 sq. ft. studio apartment is the perfect place for a weekend getaway. In addition to the living space, there is a kitchen (see appliances below), large walk in closet, undercover porch and outside fireplace. This space comfortably fits 3 people, if you are happy to use the Milliard memory foam tri-fold mattress. If needing to do washing, a coin laundromat is .3 miles away from our home.

Guest will have full access to the studio apartment, yard, porch and fireplace.
I like to meet guests upon arrival to give access and a tour of the property, but sometimes this is not possible. My husband and I live in the main house and are available to offer any advice on local attractions.
The den sits behind the main house In Altadena, a short drive from good coffee shops and restaurants. It's accessible enough to explore the many eclectic neighborhoods of LA. There are numerous neighborhood trails that are great for walking.
Although public transportation is available, the closest bus and Gold Line stop are about 1-mile away. We highly recommend having a vehicle to drive, but if in doubt, Uber!
There is a designated parking spot on our property for you, and there is plenty of street parking (no restrictions, no tickets)!
